The unique snake’s head is an action oriented, optimistic and fearless creature. Carmine red with an incredible checker board pattern, it goes its own way and follow its convictions. This solitary flower needs alone-time and is at its happiest on sweeping meadows. At the same time, it is generous, confident and faithful to its friends. Its name comes from Kungsängen, an area outside of Uppsala, where Linnaeus found it in 1740. The snake’s heads still bloom there in abundance every year in springtime.
